November 3, 2013 at 3:16 pm #144444Yes, of course…if you mention smt specific.
November 3, 2013 at 8:58 pm #144474Here is what the OBU Infopack has to say:
Page numbers should be included when there is a need to be more specific, for example when making a direct quotation. Use the abbreviation p. (for a single page) or pp. (more than one page):
e.g. As Kelvin stated (1968, p.100) ‘the value of…’Above text is extracted from Infopack pg 58.
Hope this helps!

Thank You.
November 4, 2013 at 10:38 am #144504Co. X has shown remarkable growth in its revenue in the last three years which was primarily due to price increases and high demand. Co X met the increasing demand by increasing its capacity by 5%. (Annual report,2012)(Annual Report,2011)(Annual report,2010)
Co. reduced its debt by controlling cash more properly and paying the debt by increased cash. (Annual report,2011)
2 questions
1) the first papragraph has all the three references. Is that correct OR WHAT IS CORRECT ?
2) After writing about every fact in the ratio analysis, telling the source again and again after every fact. Is that correct OR WHAT IS CORRECT ?November 4, 2013 at 11:24 am #144512OK. Lets assume your selected company name is “ACCA”. Normally all the public listed company annual reports have previous 3 year financial statements (Income statement, SFP, SOCIE and cash flow statement). so you don’t have to reference all three annual reports. The latest annual report is enough.
It must be like this in in-text reference
Co. X has shown remarkable growth in its revenue in the last three years which was primarily due to price increases and high demand. Co X met the increasing demand by increasing its capacity by 5%. (ACCA, 2012)In your reference list it should show like this ( and in bibliography list)
ACCA (2012). Annual Report 2012 [Online]. Available at: https://xxs.corporate-ir.net/External.Filecitem=UGFyZW50SUQ9MTU5NzU2saWxkSUQ9LTF8VHlwZT0z&t=1 (Accessed: 3 October 2013).
<this link wont work>Answer to your question number two is NO. You don’t have to tell the source again and again. It will reduce the word count. mentioning it once is enough as long as the reader understands what you are referring to. What you can do is include the extracts financial statements in the results and then explain it.
Those tables will not include in your word count. If you are putting the FS extracts make sure the numbers adds up correctly.Cheers
