Hi, A is a listed company with 4ml 50c ordinary share on issue. The answer is number of share is 4ml, not (4ml:50c).Please help me to explain why.Thank you
this is 4mil shares of 50c, not $4m
Correct. It is saying that there are 4 million in issue, each with a par value of 50 cents. On the SFP you would see this in equity shares as $2 million (4 million x $0.5).
Thanks
