sir are professional marks lost if summary and conclusion are not provided at the end of briefing notes and report, respectively?
The purpose of a briefing note is to provide succinct information so a summary and conclusion are inappropriate.
A report might or might not require a conclusion – it depends on its purpose. For example, it might simply be setting out pros or cons or issues about a takeover or it might ask for a recommendation. Never bother with a summary.
