Hi,
will I lose any marks in the FR exam, in an SFP question, for presenting items in the wrong order?
for example, will it make a difference if put first retained earnings or first revaluation surplus?
or, will it make a difference if I put first inventory or first receivables?
is it just about getting the figures right? or is it also about the presentation?
Hi,
No you wouldn’t lose marks for this, although I don’t understand why you would have them in that order anyway.
What you should be looking for is the heading, full narrative within the SFP plus totals top and bottom for the presentation.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanx for your answer.
What do you mean by ”totals top and bottom”?
Do you mean total assets and total equity plus liability?
Yes, that’s correct. The total assets figure and the total equity and liabilities figure.
Thanks
