    Hello sir,
I’m new to paper F7 and i am just wondering are the opentuition notes and lectures enough to pass the exam with good marks or do i need the study text?
And do you have any tips for this paper which can aid a new student?

I don’t believe that you need a study text

The notes are fine together with the lectures

What you MUST acquire is an up-to-date revision kit / exam kit from one of the approved publishers

And then spend hours and hours going through mcqs and past exam questions

There is, towards the end of the course notes, a section called mini-exercises. These are a must for you

In addition, on the F7 home page, there is a section called “revision lectures” and these videos are of me working through past examination questions 1 and 2

You need to be well on top of these questions – consolidations and preparation of financial statements of a single entity

If you encounter any problems, post your question on this forum and I shall get back to you

Thank you so much sir. I am planning to give f6 and f7 in march attempt. Four months will be enough for both papers?

It depends how hard you work and how receptive you are to the topics

Also playing a part is your “other distractions”

It’s not possible to say “Yes” nor “No” in answer to your question … it’s down to you!

But it has been done in the past … many times
