Hi sir, I’ve just decided to sit P7 for Sept 18 and this will be my final exam.
I don’t work in audit, was exempt from the Fundamental exams and just passed P2 in June.
How should i study over the next 5 weeks?
Any advice is much appreciated.July 31, 2018 at 7:32 am #465367I suggest you start by going to this page https://opentuition.com/acca/aaa/
Download the syllabus and study guide, exam docs and specimen exam – refer to the examining team guidance including the “5 minutes with the AAA examining team” (this is still relevant” and the examiner’s approach article. Then you need to plan how you are going to fit study of the syllabus, revision question practice and a mock into 5 weeks. In ACCA’s Study Support Guide (linked to this page and selecting AAA from the audit qualification:
https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources.html) you will find checklists and a proforma study plan from which you can draw up your own. In the appendix you will find further links to relevant technical articles.Work through OpenTuition’s notes alongside the lectures – available here https://opentuition.com/acca/aaa/ Start with the introductory video to get a feel for the scope of the syllabus.
You are going to have to aim to complete your study in 2-3 weeks to leave yourself with 2 weeks for solid question practice, for which you will need an Approved Content Provider’s Revision/Exam Kit.
