Hello, dear tutor.
In official answer to June 2011 exam, Q4 is written, that BCG matrix considers unit growth (usually measured by Revenue) and the relative market share of each unit.
I though, that BCG is comparison of Total market growth (not unit growth) VS market share.
Can you please expalin which approach is correct?

Your understanding is correct. It is (total) market growth vs market share.
I suppose market growth could either be measured by the number of units or the revenue.
