How was the exam this time? Is it hard? I can’t go for the exam due to serious fever. Hope everyone sitting p3 will generate a pass. Good luck!

Due to swear road accident, I am not able to sit in examination hall of P3 paper.

It was a disaster
I did P5 first. Both shared something in common.
Finished P5 just in time and P3 half hour left..
Not sure about the job enrichment and customer relationship system. Anyone can share?Btw why is the poll closed?

If you had taken heed of the exam tips you would have been very well prepared for this paper.
The main problem here was time management esp on question 1. I did question 2 and 3 first to try and leave 1 til last so it didnt take more time than it should have. To begin with i gave well planned and laid out answers but for the last 20 marks i was frantically bullet pointing !

For crm i used a mixture of the 6 i’s, and anything else I could think of.
The q2 analysis asked about the use of scenarios in Decision analysis…. Any ideas???
For q1 part 2 I talked about structural configs (it specifically used the word configurations in the question) and cultural web, but thought maybe to use change kaleidoscope at the last minute. What did everyone else use??

Question 4 was about a autocratic manager who made all the decisions himself and then tried to be more democratic after going on a training course.
Part b was about job enrichment, I wrote about motivation from responsibility. His employees just wanted to be told what to do so I didn’t know if job enrichment was really going to work.- Topics: 0

Personally i think the expected crm answer was for you to pick 5 if the 6 i’s (because it was for ten marks) and under each of these make one comment about acquistion of new customer and a second point about retention of new customer. The question specified acquisition and retention.

But I did not use the 6Is.I just wrote on the ways we can attract or retain cust.Eg.Online payment system.Less downtime.I think I am doomed.
Q1b- used cultural web, q3b used the 6 Is, but for q1a- just identified weeknesses…too confusing

Incurred penalties from software groupI do not think you need to use 6Is, the question was simply asking you to come up with some ideas. I think online payment, recommendation quotes etc should be fine…
2B is about scenario planning
Hello
After failing P3 in December, let me tell you how I think this session was. I read many past P3 papers and can admit that this one was a very fair paper.
Q1 asked for what it needed the failing strategic planning project described in the scenario to succeed, with some reference to the software implementation that the CEO wanted in place- 18 marks that could be achieved. I personally developed my answer around SMART. The following question offered another 18 marks for analysis of the current culture and organisation structure and how, if it was assessed before laying down the strategic plan described in the scenario, it woul have helped the CEO to achieve the strategy. 4 marks for presentations and 10 mars for strategies lenses.
Q2 – Porter’s 5 forces -15 marks. Very sweet the examiner. The other part asked for …. Ops, I don’t remember anymore.
Q3 – harmon’s matrix – again, the examiner was very nice this time. 15 marks for three business processes to assess plus suggestion on action. Last bit, 10 marks, CMR. How its implementation could help the company in terms of acquisition and retention of customers.I felt totally lost last time. I argued that it was complex and very lengthy. I don’t think there was any trick this time but in December, the paper was much harder, I just hated it.
