I wanted to know, if to check % of ownership of shares acquired, do we take total share onwership or can we only deduce from voting share ownership that the the business acquired is a subsidiary? Say we have 15000 voting and 20000 non voting shares? and we acquired 10000 voting shares/ Can we say that we own it as a subsidiary?
Anna
Hi,
Yes, the key is that you must be using the voting shares. These are the ones that will give you the possibility of contributing to the activities of the enterprise.
Thanks
