sir in opao co. how is the additional value created figure of 12% coming? I am getting 10.7% when i divide the synergy over combined MV of equity. and 14.4% if i divide the overall synergy by MV of equity of opao.

for additional value created from acquisition which is the right method in general???? and how to get the right answer here?

The total of the equity values before acquisition is 5,000 + 1,000 = 6,000.

The total value post-acquisition is 6,720.

    So the increase is 720/6,000 = 12%.
