Hi Chris,

When do I use Notional NCI in my goodwill impairment calculation?

I have come across a few question in the Kaplan text – all exam standard but some don’t use the Notional NCI when calculating the impaired goodwill?

It is when the goodwill is valued using the proportionate share of net assets method.
