    Hello tutor

I would like to know for SBR exams how’s the question pattern its going to be ?

for example for IAS 21 ( foreign currency)
I have followed the lectures and also did some question from the revision notes but I would like to know

In exams, are we going to get the same type of things or we have to make full consolidated statements ?

    or just the extracts ?

I have gone through the revision kits of kaplan and the questions are quite bigger and asking for full consolidated statements but I am failing to connect this with the style as I am strictly following open tuition pattern

I am having this type of difficulty how to overcome this issue please help

ias 21 is never continioulsy examined . it wont come in june

questions in kit are just a means for practice to ensure u can understand the whole workings

in exam we have to deal with extracts only

The above is correct with regards to exam content re the extracts, but you cannot say something will not come up, so foreign currency could still appear in the June exam.

    thanks to both…

well I am just unsure about the kaplan kit and opentuition revision notes questions

opentuition questions are extract types and easy to understand and doable

however, kaplan kit questions are comprehensive and seems like p2 style

what should be the ideal approach for handing such questions ?

The longer questions are there to help you understand the big picture, and there are plenty of extract questions in the revision kits too that will help you with the final exam.

    Thanks

If we had the funds to do so then we would but unfortunately we haven’t, sorry.
