    Dear mike
Please help me and guide me how to answer section B questions for p2.i somehow manage to identify the relevant ias ifrs to the scenerio in most of the times but i find it really difficult how to start writing them.First thing come to my mind in writing down the basics of ias ifrs but relating them to the scenerio that is what i am finding it very difficult and one more thing when i write an answer and compare it to the answer in the kit it looks so unprofessional i know we cant reach at that level of answering but i believe we need to get sone how closer to them.please guide me how to answer them and one more thing i am currently trying to do lots of past exam questions but every time i am finding someting different for pretty much every ias ifrs.your knowledge and experience on this problem would be much appreciated.please be remember i always try to write down measurement and recognition criteria and sruffs like that all the time is not good or bad.Thanks.

    Hi Dewan

There’s no way that you’re going to get anywhere near the professionalism of the answers so give that up as an ambition!

You’re always going to be learning new stuff so again don’t worry about that

As for taking the exam all you should’ve concentrating on is getting enough separate points down in you plan before you start writing out your answer. There are enough posts on this site telling you how to approach a written question. Read those and then come back to me if you have further questions but, at the moment, you appear to be beating yourself up over the wrong issues

You’re very welcome, and welcome too to come back with questions.

I have always said that P2 is a beast. But thousands pass the paper.

Do the basics – get the basics right (I sound like a football manager!) – and success is just around the corner
