The bpp kit says:
Independent NEDS should have no connections with the company other than fees and shareholdings.(they are talking about the NEDS in the remuneration committee)
Wouldnt shareholdings undermine their objectivity?

12y ago#1But don't forget that it is the shareholders who appoint the executive directors, and the non-execs on the remuneration committee are there to help make sure that the execs are paid a 'fair' amount.
