    Dear Mike,

I’ve just started my studies with you.

I was looking at the lecture video for chapter 3 (statute law part 1) and couldn’t find the separate lists of cases from across the syllabus that should be at the end of the notes.

As per the video the lists are on page 123-124. But I cant find them anywhere in the lecture notes I’ve downloaded. (I’ve downloaded the correct english variant).

Please kindly let me know where and how can I get hold of these list as they seem quite a handy way of memorising cases from the relevant area of law.

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,

    Bhupinder

    Hi Bhupinder

We have taken the case lists out of the notes. Before the format change of the F4 exam, cases were, as you say, an easy way to remember the law but they were never a necessary thing to learn – they’re fun and they illustrate the principles beautifully, but even in the “old days”, it was not necessary to know the case names.

In the new format, it’s only principles that you need to be aware of – there will not be any opportunity to cite the cases where these principles were established so …… we have taken the list of cases out of the notes

    Hi Mike,

Thank you very much for your reply. I have one more question – Unlike all the other papers, you didn’t tell the students to buy a revision kit for F4 in the introductory video.

Is that a deliberate omission or is it given that we must buy revision kit for all papers?

    Many thanks,

    Bhupinder

That was an omission but you’re right – it’s a given that you need a revision kit for every paper
