Hi, I hope you are doing alright. I wish to kniw which chapters are exceptionally important to focus on. I am totally aware of the fact question are going to come from across the book. But I wonder which chapters require extra attention , The chapters which students have most problem going through them. Like in F2 The chapter will be standard costing.

So i can focus on that chapter abit more.

    Hi

Every student is different and will find different chapters difficult. What you find easy another might find difficult and vice versa.

You are in the best position to decide which chapter you are finding difficult. I suggest you focus on the chapters you are personally finding challenging.

    Best wishes,

    Vijay

I love the lectures pprovided by Mike little, He sounds like expert and very knowlegegable person. I completed f3 mostly from Opentuition’s lecture and little the textbook. and i got 83.63 percent. I wanted to know can i solely from OPENTUITION lecturesand notes. I will however do examkit though. I have BPP textbook and its very hard to understand and its nothing but block of pages contains hard language. I studied and used textbook and examkit from kaplan in last 3 exams. Now, Its been 3 months i been wasting time and i couldn’t waste a single minute anymore.
I really looking forward to you Vijay to guide me and give assurance that Opentuition lectures and Examkit is more than enough. I couldn’t kaplan textbook and read every line.

Thats what i am doing so far- Completed till chapter 9 ( Documents involved in International Trade) , I watch lecture , highlight and write important points given by Mr. Mike little and revise them after lectures and at end of day and then every 2-3 days.

I scored 80 percent in F1 , 64 percent in F2 and 83.63 in f3 , Mentioning that so you can have idea of my performance.

also, I am up for any thing you suggest. Also, I have an BPP and kaplan examkit. which should i use ?

    Greatly Greatly appreciate your help.

    Hi Lokesh

So my advice is to combine watching the lectures with exam practice questions.

The BPP P&R kit is an excellent way to prepare for the exam, but ultimately the more exam questions you do the better position you will be in so if you have a Kaplan question kit then use that too.

The Study Manual is not needed to pass the exam and can often lead to confusion. Technically anything in the Study Text can be examined but a more sensible approach to passing this exam is to work through every lecture and use the revision kits. Question Practice, Question Practice, Question Practice is fundamental to passing!

The other very important strategy is to ensure that when you are revising you should cover 1 chapter/Topic at a time. I would recommend reading for no more than 45 mins before having a short 10 minute break and then do questions for 20 mins on that topic. Then have a break for 15 mins, before moving onto the next Topic/Chapter and repeat that process 🙂

    I hope that helps.

    Best wishes,

    Vijay
