Due to quality control issues encountered during audit of Autumn co which of the following actions should now be taken
1) Offending members of staff have demonstrated lack of competence and due care therefore firm should report them to Acca to be disciplined for failing to comply with code of ethics
2)More frequent quality control reviews need to take place
3)Further training may be provided t0 staff
4)Firms policies and procedures may need to be updates
Sir in this mcq all answers are correct except 1). I just want to ask that why 1) is not correct?
It is the audit firm’s problem.Staff might have been improperly assigned, directed or supervised. They need training not hitting with a big ACCA stick.
