    Suppose for a 10 mark question on substative proc if we write 7 points will the 7 be considered when 5 points were only needed or only the best 5 will be takn?is there any max limit to how much points we shud write with regard to any question?

    Well, for a 10 mark question you won’t know how many points they expect. I usually estimate 1.5 marks per point:1 for identification, 1 for explanation.

    If you are specifically asked for 5 points and you write 7, the marker is supposed to find the best 5. However, if all 7 are right you have wasted time writing an extra 2.
