I just got the error message as well. now wishing I didn’t look. guess it’s time to start getting the books out ready to study again
Guys I know the waiting is painful (especially for the finalists) but with all these theories you are only making the waiting more stressful. The worst of all is that we will all have to wait a long stressing weekend. Tonight, Friday night should be the release day and not on Sunday night (few hours before we go to work). that’s why I don’t bother with the results and I will check after work on Monday (I don’t want to make a blue Monday bluer) haha

I think Saturday would be better. That way you can either go out to keep your mind off the results and use Sunday or celebrate to come to terms with the results and have a clear head for Monday.
I believe that if these theories were 100% true, then ACCA would take action (after so many years of the link theory) and shut down the whole site for 3 days. That would be the easiest solution for them. This is what exactly happened in 2012 when students were able to view their actual results 24 hours before the release day. ACCA immediately shut down the site.
I’m off from this forum…full of crap with all these stupid theories and people swearing by them

I was a finalist in December 17 and was able to login to e business site and see the tick box but the acca portal link was giving me an error and I failed in that sitting.
Now I am able to login to both of them – fingers crossed.
On previous forums, finalists could see members@… email address on the home page of e-business. Has this changed from students@… for anyone yet?
With all due respect you all need to *SWEARING REMOVED* and I’m not joking – you nearly gave me a freaking heart attack with all those theories of yours in January because none of mine were working – my results even came a few hours late – so please once more *SWEARING REMOVED* – you shouldn’t be doing this to people – you’re all meant to be professional accountants with professional judgement and ethics and confidentiality – is this the kind of advice you give to your clients? The link theory this and if you right click on the balance sheet and see an s it means there’s fraud but if you see m it means congratulations all is well and we don’t need to perform an audit – seriously grow up – I don’t understand how opentuition don’t automatically remove you from this forum. You’re doing harm to everyone by giving everyone panick attacks – you don’t know if you passed or failed and you won’t know if you passed or failed until the actual results are out. But I know that I passed and that I’m an affiliate because I waited for my results in January – if I was working for acca I would have definitely sent you all warnings because I wouldn’t want people like you as members – go waste other people’s time on YouTube and start your Disney conspiracy theories or what not – it would be aimed at the right type of people. Seriously stop
Yes don’t listen to them – just relax enjoy the weekend and you’ll only know when the results are out – and only then you can have an action plan to either celebrate your acca or start with a new plan of attack – just never give up
Question. –
The link theory- I have been trying this from Tuesday past. It had been showing an error until Thursday, now I can access this link without error, what I find is similar to what has been described on here, grey/white page etc.
For e-business I only gained access to this on Wednesday as I didn’t have the passcode, by the time I logged in ACCA had already restricted access to preserve confidentiality of results, there had been no change when I log in since then.
Is this a good/bad sign?
Also did everyone get the survey ACCA sent out last week in relation to the “Future Accountant and EQ via email?
No, no tick box for me. I don’t have much to compare it with, it was already restricted when I logged into the ebusiness site for the very first time.
One of the few sensible comments on this thread. These theories have caused widespread panic. As a result people have been obsessing over them for days. Shouldn’t be tolerated on the forum.
So what’s everyone doing this weekend?
My husband is taken me for a spa day on Saturday and a posh meal on Sunday.

Tomorrow from 10am to 14.00pm I am going to continuously refresh the link theory link searching for abnormalities. Then from 14.00pm to 14.15 pm I am going to have a cup of tea and a rich tea biscuit. From 14.16pm to 20.00pm I am going to refresh the e-business link continuously, using alternate laptops. I will take a break from 20.00pm to 20.07pm to have a cup of coffee and a chocolate biscuit yet to be determined. From 20.08pm to 22.28pm I will check these forums. 22.29pm to midnight watch Match of the day.
Sunday- repeat. with “Match of the day 2” replacing Saturdays “Match Of the Day”.

For now, I have applied that judgement for you and removed the swearing words that you used.
If someone’s visited this forum it’s cos they want to see all the theory speculations.
Those who are so not into the theories are free to not visit the forum.

As we wait for the results, it seems quite a few of us are tense.
I suggest long walks at the beach, trying new foods, visiting botanical gardens, visiting the elderly, smiling and making others smile this weekend.
