See Bpp Exam it the number of Linsil (6/04), see it’s answers of part a, the direct labour hours why it has made 1.25 multiply by 100/90???
It should have simply made 90% of 1.25. In the question the note number 3 it said that 10% decrease in labour, so labour hours should have reduced, but the answer in the book has showed an increase????

    PLEASE REPLY Thanks in advance

Note 3 says that the standard used had expected that there would be a 10% decrease in labour hours.

However, this did not happen – they did not buy a new machine.

So the standard labour hours should in fact have been higher (100 hours for every 90 hours that they had been expecting).
