The time for the first batch of 50 units was 500 hours. The total time for the first 16 batches of 50 units was 5,731.
what is the learning rate ?The answer given was 92%
16* 500r^4 = 5731
r^4= 5731/8000
r^4= 0.7163
r=0.92first i do not even know what to do with my calculator for r^4

I assume you are happy with everything else except for calculating the 4th root (because I explain in my lectures how to calculate the learning rate).
You should have a scientific calculator which lets you take n’th roots. If not, then certainly must have a square root button, and you can get the 4th root by taking the square root twice.
