A team of 5 students has to mix and fill sanitisers in batches of 50 containers of 500ml, each intern will be remunerated at a rate of N$7.50 per hour of production
It takes 12 hours to manufacture the first batch and total cumulative time of 27 hours to manufacture the 4th batch.

    Problem:
    1. Determine the time it takes the team to complete the 8th batches.
    2. Determines the time it will take the team to manufacture the first eight batches.
    3. What would be the incremental direct labor cost for the special order of 150 containers assuming normal production are 8 batches?

Learning curves are not examinable in Paper MA.

They are examined in Paper PM, and there are free lectures in the Paper PM section of this website on learning curves which explain exactly how to calculate the answers to your problem.

This forum is for students studying for Paper MA.

The question as you have typed it is obviously not for real world practice. I imagine maybe you have been set this as a test exercise, and if so then we are not here to do your homework for you. 🙂

By all means watch our free Paper PM videos on learning curves if you want to know. The lectures explain all of the calculations and there is no point in simply typing out a full question and expecting us to provide you with a full answer.
