EX 2: time taken to produce first unit is 100 hrs. Learning rate is 75 %.

How long will it take to produce an additional 7 units ?

My doubt: What does it mean by “An additional 7 units”

Is it after producing first unit whats time it will take to produce next 7 units. ( Which makes sense for the way you solved the question like ‘total time to produce 8 units – total time to produce first unit’ .

or Is it to produce first 7 units

An additional 7 units means extra to the one already made (so they will then have made 8 in total).

I don’t remember anything about regression analysis and time series , except that regression analysis finds the corelation between one depended and one or more independent variables and time series used to find trends in data ,the data is analysed on basis of time variable like days months years. Do i need to take f2 lectures or these two topics. i remember you said there will be no calculations.

There can now be calculations in Paper PM on these.

There are full lectures on both in our Paper MA section (and nothing extra on them can be asked in Paper PM).
