For goodwill how we’ll find pre acquisition retained earnings?
In solution retained earnings finds like this (4500-(3900*4/12))
In which I didn’t understand from where 3900 has come?Hi,
Is the 3,900 not the profit for the year that is then pro-rated for the four months we have controlled the subsidiary before it is then deducted from the retained earnings at the reporting date.
