Hi chris,
im doing the jocatt question in there and i dont know where the hell did they get the 6m value deducted from payables in the wc changes in operating cf. I cant see anything that related to payable in the question. Please tell me where im missing the link. I understand however that the 5m from receivables comes from removal of financial asset yes?

ArinaAlso i’d like to know why the DTL arising from acquisition of T would be included to both the closing balance and the dr side of the T account of taxation as deferred tax on acquisition $3.
I thought adding it to closing balance of DT would suffice? Please let me know where i went wrong. Thanks

I’ve not got the Kaplan kit and can’t see anything in the original Dec’10 question that would mean that it is adjusted. There isn’t any adjustment in the original answer either, sorry.
You’re correct with the adjustment for the receivables balance.

Hi,
The deferred tax on acquisition is included as one entry on the credit side. I’m not sure why they’ve made the adjustment they have, but again there maybe extra information in their updated question as there isn’t anything from the Dec’10 questions or answers that indicates what they’ve done, sorry.
