will the topic on islamic finance be for the paper P4
and new notes for P4

It seems not (even though it is in F9 paper).
I will find out for certain on Wednesday – if it is in P4 then a chapter will be added to the notes immediately.

I have just returned from the ACCA Learning Providers conference.

Islamic finance will not be in P4 for the present. It will be introduced into the syllabus sometime in the future, but NOT for exams this year.
