professor can you explain why from investment income of $3.891m, dividends received from associate were not deducted?
In the debrief of the question which I hope you have watched I explained that this would be a bad mark to attempt. It actually involves 7 separate numbers.
The dividends from associate would not be included because we are given investment income in the GROUP ACCOUNTS which would not include dividends from associate. If you are struggling on associates please look back at our FR notes.
