Dear All,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek some information about the ACCA program. I was an ACCA student for several years but had to discontinue my studies after multiple unsuccessful attempts at the P2 exam, with my last successful attempts being in June 2013, where I cleared my P1 and P3 exams. Given the continuously changing and challenging business environment, I am keen to complete my ACCA qualification. However, I have noticed that the fees appear to be significantly higher now than when I left the program.
I would appreciate it if you could provide clarity on the following questions:
1. Does ACCA offer any kind of relaxation or waiver for previous outstanding dues?
2. Are there any concessions available for future fees?
3. Will I need to retake my P1 and P3 exams due to the time lapse since my last successful attempt?
4. Can I obtain an exemption for a bachelor’s degree from a recognized international university based on my ACCA qualifications?
5. Does ACCA qualification help me in finding employment abroad, particularly for someone relocating from Pakistan at the age of 40?Your responses and suggestions will greatly motivate me to achieve my goals. Thank you all in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,
Yasir

1. Does ACCA offer any kind of relaxation or waiver for previous outstanding dues?
To the best of my knowledge no: https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/getting-started/re-registration.html But the good news is that reregistration in Pakistan is currently discounted https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/qualifications/accountancy-career/fees/fees-charges-pakistan.html?countrycode=Pakistan
2. Are there any concessions available for future fees?
ACCA now sets fees on a country-by-country basis, I’m not aware of ACCA offering additional concessions.3. Will I need to retake my P1 and P3 exams due to the time lapse since my last successful attempt?
See here: https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/getting-started/rules-and-regulations-for-students.html
Membership Regulation 3(g) states “You have seven years to pass all the Strategic Professional exams.”
The good news is that P1 and P3 have been replaced with the case study “Strategic Business Leader” (SBL). The even better news is that this is now only 3 ours (was 4 hours) and based on “pre-seen” material.4. Can I obtain an exemption for a bachelor’s degree from a recognized international university based on my ACCA qualifications?
ACCA gives exemptions for relevant degrees for Applied Skills exams – this doesn’t “work” in reverse.5. Does ACCA qualification help me in finding employment abroad, particularly for someone relocating from Pakistan at the age of 40?
I would say it depends on where you are thinking of relocating to – you can use this page to search locations https://jobs.accaglobal.com – and whether you have any relevant work experience.I hope that gets you started on your journey.

Well you’ve discovered OpenTuition now and all our resources are entirely for free.
https://opentuition.com/accaWe don’t provide “revision kits”, but there is an abundance of free revision question practice in ACCA’s Study Hub https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/your-study-options/studyhub.html as well as past exams and mock exams in the CBE Practice Platform https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/cbe-platform-support.html
