Where do we have to put impairement/ past service cost in p/l
Is it under admin costs or other exp
What are costs under each of these thanks
Hi,
The examiner isn’t too worried about where the costs go. The impairment would go wherever the depreciation on the asset was charged, whilst the past service cost would go to where the staff costs go. Technically this therefore means that they can go anywhere, but I’d just always put them through administration.
