    Hi sir,
I want to know that is there any sequence to be followed while utilising the NIL RATE BAND, that it must firslty utilise PET and then move to the CLTs. It is bit confusing for me while dealing with a long question.
    Thankyou so much.

Have you worked through the lectures and study notes provided as these issues are clearly dealt with in the OT material?
It is essential that you follow an organised process of working through the lectures and notes, working all the examples and assigned practice questions and performing the additional reading from the relevant ACCA technical articles where assigned at the end of a chapter.
Once this is done then use your Exam / Revision kit to practice.

You state that you have gone through the lectures and notes – section 8 and specifically example 1 deal precisely with this issue. You therefore need to spend more time working through these lectures and notes as what you need to know is there for you.
