Dear sir,
should I refer to certain IFRS or IAS standard in my exam answer. Will I be penaltised if I refer to wrong standard?

Hi,

You don’t get marks for refering to the right standard or lose any marks for getting the standard number right. Personally, I’d not bother refering to the standard number.
