Impairment of financial assets(as updated in IFRS 9) is applicable on and from 1st January 2018.

therefore is it examinable for sept’17 sitting?

P2 Syllabus section C3 Financial Instruments, sub section (d) states “Apply and discuss the treatment of the expected loss impairment model”

So yes, it is examinable.
