If an equity reserve is built for cash settled share based transaction. What would be the accounting/ethical issue.
Hi,
What is the correct accounting treatment for a cash settled share based payment? Have they done it correctly above? If they haven’t then the incorrect accounting becomes and ethical issue, particularly if they are trying to understate liabilities by not correctly recognising the cash settlement as a liability.
