If the transfer of the asset is not a sale, then the lessee is not a seller and the lessor is not a buyer in this case?
Hi,
Correct and if this is the case then the “seller” continues to recognise the transferred asset and the proceeds are recognised as a loan, hence a financial liability at amortised cost.
