Can you please tell me if we need to know the regulations by number for the exam? Also, in the answer do I always have to give the exact definition or is it enough if tailor the answer to the scenario? It is not very obvious from my learning provider’s exam kit. Thank you very much.

No you do not need to know the numbers of the accounting standards. If students do try to remember then they invariably get it wrong anyway!
