Hi,

For the P2 exam, are we expected to know the IAS and IFRS names and numbers?

One of my colleagues who sat the Mar-17 paper said that in Part B, some of the question said “with relevance to appropriate accounting standards…….”

Hi,

You do not need to know the names or numbers of the standards. All the questions will contain the sentence that you mention above as it is just getting you to use the rules from the accounting standard, not state the name of number.
