    See HERE https://www.accaglobal.com/us/en/help/transfer.html

How long will it take to process my application?
You will be transferred to membership approximately 12 working days after we receive confirmation of your acceptance – subject to the next available membership committee meeting.
Membership applications are normally processed within four weeks of receipt. We will contact you during this period should we require any further information.

@llkkjj – thank you for sharing your experience! It just goes to show that when the systems work they work! You must have been lucky though with timing maybe the day before a membership committee meeting which is held only twice a month. I hope it doesn’t raise too many expectations how long the process should NORMALLY take (!) Congratulations to you!

I applied for membership on Wed last week. I got email from ACCA today saying that my membership application has been selected for review. Not sure what exactly mean by this. Do they select applications for review randomly? Do they verify job experience directly from employer? What else they would review?

I have 2 years and 3 months experience from ACCA Approved employer(Audit firm) in Ireland. Rest of experience (current job) is from Insurance company in Ireland. Would they confirm experience from my previous employer also? How much time it usually takes?

    Thanks

@bilalm0033 – ACCA has a lot of review quality control procedures – some years ago I was selected for review of my CPD declaration – I can thoroughly recommend keeping the evidence recorded in the CPD tool provided (!) You don’t need to check here but you will see that review of membership application is quite common https://opentuition.com/topic/acca-membership-application-2 it also indicates there:

“This review may take up to 10 working days to complete subject to confirmation from your employer/supervisor. Please note that the employer/supervisor may take longer to respond.” (Was that not stated in the email you received?)

So yes, looking at this, they will be confirming your PER with your supervisor.

I received email from ACCA on Friday 11/02 that my membership application has been approved and i should receive cert with 5 working days.

Wondering how much time it usually takes to get membership certificate? I paid my fee on same day 11/02. I haven’t got cert yet and current status on myACCA account is also Affiliate. I need to submit this as part of my another application just waiting for cert. Thanks

5 working days will be tomorrow – if you have concerns you should contact ACCA directly https://www.accaglobal.com/hk/en/footer-toolbar/contact-us.html

Give or take close to 10 days. Once they’ve confirmed your membership via mail. You don’t have to worry at all.
