Hello everyone
I want guidance on how can I clear my ACCA exams by securing good marks i.e above 70 .This June I attempted 3 papers f5 f8 f9 n failed and only got 48 49 49 I know why I failed Bec along with ACCA at the same time I was also preparing for some other exams due to which I was not able to complete my ACCA study material n exams kit completely n also Bec I had only 1 month for completing these 3 + 4 other subjects of my other exams 🙁 in total I was trying to cover 7 subjects within 1 month time.
But now I don’t want to commit any mistakes and want to pass ACCA exams with good marks please guide me how can I surely secure more than 70%

As you have already identified your mistakes… Most of the work is done… You just shouldn’t repeat them.

An advice; don’t burden yourself in order to rush to get done with all the papers … By giving more papers in per sitting…gives less time to each paper for studying and revision.
Remember even if you complete all your papers in a hurry… One has to complete the 36 months ( 3 years) work experience… So go in a normal steady pace…
Even if you give one paper per each sitting you will be done with 4 papers in one year. Which seems good enough. ( btw that would mean 12 papers in 3 years)
One needs to avoid constant fails and first get done with those that you have Not passed… Dont prepare for a new subject until then.. so that you do not get into that vicious cycle…
So its best to take one exam per sitting… Not pressurising yourself with too many subjects per sitting… That will secure you a pass and the desired scores you would like to achieve!
This just my advice and opinion… But i think as current ACCA students we have more flexibility with 4 sittings per year.
It is such a shame that I see so often an over-commitment to the number of exams that you can prepare for one one sitting. Assuming that your other exams are out of the way so that you can prepare properly for resitting them you shouldn’t have a problem securing good passes next time.
Do read the examiners’ reports for June (they should all now be available). While your experience of sitting the exams may still be relatively fresh see if you can identify not only where you might have lost the odd mark or two think about whether you could have used your time to better effect in the exam. You don’t say whether you sat paper-based of CBE but if you sat CBE could you have saved any time if you had been more familiar with the available functionality? If you sat paper but will not sit CBE it will be particular important that you prepare specifically for tackling questions in the constructed response workspace.
One of the potential problems of revising “familiar ground” is that you may become bored with the subject matter so make sure you have used all the support resources available to you. If you have worked through substantially all of the questions of a revision kit it may well be worth investing in a new one from a different provider – even though some questions may the same, others may be adapted in completely different ways or include some different questions entirely.
