‘Secondhand referencing refers to when you read someone being cited by someone else e.g. in a book or paper “Matthews cited in Archer (2012 puts toward the view that ….. ” so as explained, your reference in the text is as above.

“The Outsider”? That’s a new one in me!!!! Have you taken the comment out of context ??? Of course you use (Seekingalpha, 2017) if that is the source -the ‘Outsider, 2017’ would be utter nonsense!!

Please recognise that if using websites for advice then ensure they are reputable e.g. universities dispensing advice or the Harvard system not some random website.

We ave our own ‘Open Tuition Ultimate Guide to referencing’ on our homepage http://www.opentuition.com/obu which gives sound rules

Why use the name (ACCA#Excel) ? Wouldn’t Appendix#Excel be more logical?

    And how about A-CompanyNameRatio; B-CompanyNameRatio, C-CompanyNameRatio etc.??

    HI,
I failed in the last attempt only because of issues with referencing. I just want to know if I can automatically populate the ‘List of references’ or I have to manually write all the list of references as per the prescribed format?

Personally I hate the auto versions as unless they are set up properly they are not always in the correct format. Read the referencing requirements in the Assessment Criteria however and see if your end result will meet those assessment requirements.

Also check your list thoroughly and read the Golden Rules in ‘the Open Tuition Ultimate Guide to Referencing your RAP’ (on our homepage) as you need to comply with those.

    Then you should be OK
