Is it necessary to know the depth of the basic group structure just like in FR..
or will the summarised way of sbr lectures that is provided in your website be enough to pass the sbr paper[ with respect to only the basic group structure]..?

The summarised information in SBR will be fine, as you will pick up the knowledge again as you then answer the questions in the study text and revision kit.
