In the question, the irrecoverable gas has been accounted for as PPE..

I don’t thoroughly understand why? The only reason I can think of is that it’ll be there for more than one accounting period.. any other reason why it’s PPE..

    For your convenience..

    Hi,

It is because it is held for more than one period but also because without the irrecoverable gas being in place we would not be able to use the rest of the gas that is recovered and so it is part of being held in the production and supply of goods or services.

    Thanks
