    So in the question , the damages awarded was cost of rebuilding?
    However, in Ruxley Electronics v Forsyth damages awarded was the difference between the pool as it has been completed and its value if it had been properly completed?

    Humai! I explained that in enough detail in my response – for the swimming pool the cost of rectification would be disproportionate to the loss of amenity whereas for the wall it should not have been phenomenally expensive to repair the breached wall
