Hello Sir, May I know what is the meaning of fair value through profit and loss and fair value through other comprehensive income? I not really understand about it. Can u explain it to me in details?
Thanks You So Much.
Hi,
Fair vlaue is the amount that we would expect to sell the financial asset at on the open market.
Gains/losses will then either go through profit or loss (default treatment for equity investments) or through other comprehensive income if an election has been made at initial recognition as we intend to hold the equity shares indefinitely.
Thanks
