In the Notes, chapter 23, section 6, Example 6, it says:
“The fair value of Jones’s equity shares acquired was $200,000 at acquisition”
In the video lecture you assumed that this was NCI of 20%. On what basis was this assumed?
In the question it says “shares acquired”. From this one wud assume that this FV of shares purchased by Mathews, the parent company.
I am confused
