Hi Chris,

Can we be asked to calculate the fair value of a liability as its a bit challenging based on the decommissioning of liability illustration i saw in bpp

Hi,

If you were asked to calculate it then it would involve a similar calculation and wouldn’t differ significantly from what you see in the BBP materials. If you can understand the basics of it, ignoring the complications, then you won’t go far wrong in the exam.
