that was my question, thanks 🙂
i know that exam results are coming on th 22nd, but it would be good to see the answers a bit earlier.

I think the questions will be on soon – by tomorrow or Monday.
The answers much later, not sure when but I think in a months time.

Infact F9 was a theory paper. Very tough but will surely pass with above 50%.

I got NPV $1,25m as well. Hope we are right – 13 marks for that.
What did you get for the Forward/Money hedge Q4 – I got forward better option approx$3,950
Also what do you mention about the Working Capital funding? I mentioned the aggressive/conservative approaches.
    Good luck.

it was a fair paper but was really time pressured!
q1 used money rate and inflated all from 1st year
time horizon of 4 yrs. left it undone
risk incorporation , i talked about the the meaning, procedures, adv and disadv.of sensitivity, expected values, and adjusted payback

    q2 b4 bond issue i got wacc 12% after issue i got 11%
factors influencing mkt value of traded debt. i talked about the expectation theory, liquidity and segmentation theory. i also talked about the level of risk involved, size and type of bond etc

q3 13 marks did not get time to do it
but did sale and lease back and equity finance raising.talkabout wat they are and effect and disadv and adv
explained nature of script dividend and its effect and adv and disadv

q4 did the forex change calculation and think money market was cheaper than foward rate
for int rate and exchange rate i talked about purchasing power parity theory and interest rate power parity theory
for the inventory did eoq normal without discount at 120000units p/y and then did 30000unit with discount .. 120000 was cheaper.. didn’t do the receivable part
i only hope i have done enough to pass! cos timing was challenging. and i also hope there will be mark for steps even wen i make mistake, i hope i get subsequent marks

Damn… Q 1 really did it to me… the part (b) and (c) were like… “U aint gonna b solving us coz u dont have the TIIIIMMMEMEEE” 🙁

    Q2 and Q3, i would Cautiously say that they went well… Cant say that about Q4… 🙂 messed up the 1st part… and m not sure about the last one… PLease !! 50 !! not 49… 50 !!!

Q4 was payables and not receivables 🙂
and EOQ didn’t have to be used in that question.
and forward was definitely cheaper than money market hedge.
but in the discussion you seem to have done well.
