Hello Sir,
I’m going for f7 paper in March and would you like to know on which topics I should put more emphasis. How should I revise and plan my work in order to get good grades?
I have been practicing a lot for consolidated statements/published accounts and trying to master it. But what about section A and B? Will the paper be totally different from that of Dec 2017? Grateful if you could guide me. Thank you Sir 🙂January 29, 2018 at 6:25 am #433709Same format as December 2017 but, of course, different questions
Which topics? With 30 multiple choice questions available, the examiner has the opportunity to ask questions literally from all four corners of the syllabus
The two 20 markers tend to be from the “bigger” topics like consolidations, cash flows, interpretation and preparation of single entity financial statements
Work through the examples in the course notes
Work through all the mini exercises (towards the end of the course notes)
Follow the revision lectures – you’ll find them on the F7 home page towards the bottom of that page – where I work through past examination consolidations and single entity financial statements
And, whenever you hit a brick wall, post again on this forum and I shall get back to you
OK?
