I chose 110 as the relevant cost. Opportunity cost + the 10 hours of labour as the question didn’t specify if they were on a fixed contract.

Mcqs are difficult just 2 marks question make us to work alot…section b was not balanced no question from important top ics is like learning curve performance measurement throughput etc…very disappointed paper. ..can anyone explain how to do variance question I just calculate sale price volume and planning and operational variances as I didn’t understand how to solve….

For the shadow price one, since one had a shadow price of zero, I deemed it to not be a constraint. The other’s didn’t make sense or were wrong to me. Open to other suggestions!

I thought this was the easiest question in section B. Calculate three customer satisfaction figures and comment on what the Bus Co manager said i.e. did it agree with the figures given and those calculated?

I picked 2 over 3 as 2 was achievable, but 3 was not. (???)

Looks like i got the relevant costing answer wrong. I did lost contribution £40 + hourly rate £70 = £110. Thinking about it now, it should have been £40 because labour was employed anyway so they would’ve been paid the hourly rate regardless.

what did you guys get for CVP ratio? Think I got 0.6.

I meant C/S ratio as 0.6 not CVP

For the environmental accounting question : I picked the last three costs, first one is related to flow cost accounting

For the price for demand to be 0 question : $35

For relevant cost question : $110

For the goods received notes question : range check & sequence check

For the level of information question : first one is tactical, second one is operational

Yes, I got 60 point something percent, which I think is quite a high ratio. I then converted it to a percentage for no apparent reason!

I did the same. I think this is quite a common scenario!

Yeah it was an easy question, but I think it was unnecessarily drawn out for something as easy as that. I kept pouring over it thinking I missed something or misunderstood.
