Hi my mcqs are all guess. Sec b was ok though but still I doubt.
June 8, 2016 at 2:36 pm #320862Thought I did fairly well, short questions threw me a bit but eventually after reading through them a few times they were ok. Question 5 was handy decision making question. I found Question 4 to be the hardest.
June 8, 2016 at 2:43 pm #320865In my opinion I felt the mcq’s were quite a bit tougher than norm but there were a few easier questions in section B.
For me question 5 was the toughest as I hadn’t seen a decision making question like that before.
I wish everyone the best of luck with their results.
Also a massive thank you to this wonderful site!
June 8, 2016 at 2:48 pm #320867Lack of time, I had to rush a bit the MCQs. I think some of the MCQs are too long/too many calculations to do considering they give 2 points each only.
Question 4 was the hardest in my opinion as there was a lot to read and a lot of data. It was about Transfer pricing which I thought I studied well but at that point in the exam I didn’t have a fresh mind to answer properly as it was the last one that I attempted.
just hoping to have done enough to pass..
June 8, 2016 at 2:58 pm #320873Wow.. by far hardest mcqs I’ve seen. Section B wasn’t the usual. I think a high score just required understanding f5 rather than application of techniques. I wasnt even the slightest bit nervous going in I’m pretty comfortable with past exam papers but coming out I don’t think I passed. Some of the question style I had never seen before.

Typical F5 exam. I think I did fairly well this time around. MCQs were fine as well as question 1, 2, 3, 5. Question 4 was the hardest for me.
June 8, 2016 at 3:02 pm #320876MCQ were okay, guessed around 4. Q 2 on breakeven and 3 on ABC were pretty straight forward. Forgot how to calucate the sales market and volume share variances for Q1, 4 & 5 were tough.
June 8, 2016 at 3:12 pm #320884What were the Mcq answers?
June 8, 2016 at 3:19 pm #320886In section B:
Q1) just multiplied the original budget volume by the percentages given to arrive at the revised budget quantity?
Q2) breakeven chart to interpret, all the answers were basically given in the chart right…?
Q3) calculated full cost per unit using ABC, however in point b) what did you answer, given the fact that only the price per unit was given under absorption costing, not the cost? (hope I read well..)
Q4) horrible. how many unit did you take as internal transfer from L to M?
Q5) again not very good…which school did you choose to close? confused about redundancy costs and percentage of pupils…MCQ:
mainly interested in the answers to: learning rate question, the question with markup target cost at the beginning, rolling budget last question, ROI, and BEP difference under 2 options given.
Cheers!
Tough exam…hope everyone passes…June 8, 2016 at 3:22 pm #320887The Q paper ws actually easy…bt i wsnt prepared
June 8, 2016 at 3:27 pm #320890I hope whoever is marking my paper is in the middle of a nervous breakdown and/or on drugs. That’s the only way I’ll pass.
June 8, 2016 at 3:27 pm #320892in Q4 I supposed to transfer total 120 unit because of spare capacity
in Q5 I closed school 3 since got benefit from closing it.what was the learning rate in 14th multiple choice i got 75% but used very complicated calculation
June 8, 2016 at 3:30 pm #320893got 75% as well…in Q4 i transferred 140000 units but not sure at all…what did you got in the 4th target costing markup? and ROI, and BEP questions? 🙂
June 8, 2016 at 3:31 pm #320894The exam is fairly easy to pass if you prepare well. The examiners come up with lots of easy questions and a little bit of difficult ones. It is not as difficult as what they usually say.
June 8, 2016 at 3:32 pm #320896our answers are similar:
closed school 3
75% learning rate too
could transfer up 140k units (however, M only needed 120K)
TP: 37
Sensible range (24-37) for goal congruencefor revising mark up 37.8%
June 8, 2016 at 3:37 pm #320897rolling budget last question and BEP difference what did you answer?:)
June 8, 2016 at 3:38 pm #320898mark up same 37.8%, ROI 35% but not sure still what is correct since asset can be either cost or net book value
June 8, 2016 at 3:39 pm #320899rolling bug was:A
cant remember rest
June 8, 2016 at 3:41 pm #320900BEP differ was 24000 I guess!
June 8, 2016 at 3:48 pm #320902I strongly feel that I got at least 18 mcqs correct.
Q2:ran out of time
Q5: so confusing but closed school 3. I just compared cost saved by closing schools vs cost by running them
part b; remaining staff morale, likelihood of 80% pupils will join school 1&2, rules and regulation from govt for closing school down penalty etc, accuracy of fixed cost calculation, will pupils deffo come back after 3 years.
Q4: Trans pricing- went well
Q3: ABC was easy
Q1: market size variance: wasn’t sure but still did alright I guess.June 8, 2016 at 3:51 pm #320903great, so I got some right answers as well haha… tough exam overall…can expect anything…
June 8, 2016 at 3:56 pm #320905what was the answer for 1st mcq?
