Ruby, this option is for papers which involve choice. In F5 you must attempt all questions.
December 8, 2013 at 8:13 am #151594Hi Ruby. It was my first paper and I also forgot to tick the question attempted. However I did check with the invigilator. They said is fine. More importantly is you shade the question attempted on top of the answer sheets. I
December 8, 2013 at 8:18 am #151595I don’t remember if I shade all the questions attempted on the top of the answer sheet π I did shade some but at the end I didn’t have enough time so I don’t know if I shade all. Will it be a problem? π
December 8, 2013 at 9:37 am #151601Might be. Depends on examinators mood. In general it is not very good. The examinator may decide not to check the whole answer.

December 11, 2013 at 9:01 am #152341On learning curve, month one there was 1 batch, month two, 1 batch again, month three, 2 batches month four. 4 batches and month five 8 batches.
Using the learning curve fomula 1st month and 2 month of same output got the same cost of labour because output did not double. I went on further to calculate the difference in cost of labour for the 3rd nd 4th output which I used on the 5th month of 8 batches since learning was ending on the 4th month.
Don’t know if I got it correctDecember 11, 2013 at 11:25 am #152360In Question 3 the answer for the “a” is:
time per month cost per month
July 200,00 $2.400,00
August 152,00 $1.824,00
September 267,52 $3.210,24
October 470,84 $5.650,02
November 900,08 $10.800,96
Totals 1.990,44 $23.885,22Am i right?
December 11, 2013 at 3:05 pm #152513That’s the same as my answer. But I didn’t total it up, the question only ask for monthy labour cost right?
December 11, 2013 at 3:09 pm #152515Out put for 2nd month is double (you have to based on the cummulated output). Month is is 1 batch, month 2 is 1 batch, it means the cumulative out put is doubled, which is 2 batch. The time for month 1 is 200 hours. month 2 is 152 hours. Similar calculation for month 3 and 4. For the last month you just calculate the time taken to produce the 8th batch, which is abt $112. Then you will get the answer.
